ESD Global
Accreditation Program
Why Accreditation Matters
Our accredited levels now allow ESD professionals to teach at or below their level. This means a Level 3 instructor can teach Level 1 and 2 curriculum without waiting to complete all levels. Accreditation enhances recognition and quality control, providing a standardized framework for ESD professionals and institutions.
Who Can Apply?
ESD instructors, institutions, and entrepreneurs can apply to become accredited providers and gain access to our licensed, trademarked programs. A $100 application fee applies, and upon approval, you'll receive a partner packet with free resources to support your students.
What is Accreditation?
Accreditation is a formal process that ensures programs meet predetermined quality standards. ESD Global's levels, which have long been a core part of our self-defense training, are now officially accredited by an external organization, ensuring consistency, quality, and recognition globally.
Accreditation vs. Certification
-
Certification: Internal validation of an individual's skills (previous ESD Global model).
-
Accreditation: External validation by a third party, confirming that our levels meet quality standards.
How it Works
Apply online with a $100 processing fee.
Approved providers receive access to licensed ESD Global programs.
Trainees can earn accredited certificates through these programs, and their credentials will be added to a searchable database.
For Existing ESD Professionals
Alumni can swap their old certificates for accredited ones via our alumni program. New trainees automatically receive accredited certificates when completing courses through an approved provider.
